Littelfuse is firmly committed to maintaining your privacy and strives to uphold the highest privacy standards. This Privacy Statement of Littelfuse, Inc. and its subsidiaries (together, “Littelfuse”) explains what information we gather about you, what we use that information for, and who we give that information to in order to continue to provide you with exceptional service. It sets out your rights in relation to your information and who you can contact for more information. What is personal data?

Littelfuse is strongly committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Statement describes how Littelfuse handles personal information collected through www.littelfuse.com (the “Website”), seminars, fairs, exhibitions, other events, and social media where people submit their personal information to Littelfuse.

Who is responsible for the correct processing of your information?

Littelfuse determines by what means and for what purposes it processes your personal data. As a result, Littelfuse is the controller of your personal data and therefore responsible for the correct processing of your information.

The Littelfuse Website may link to third-party sites not controlled by Littelfuse and which do not operate under the same Littelfuse privacy practices. When you click on a link to third-party sites, the Littelfuse privacy practices no longer apply. How do we collect personal data about you?

When you use our Website, we collect personal data about you and your use of the Website, through cookies and analytics tools. We may also collect personal data such as your name, job title, company name, address, email address and telephone number either directly from you or by combining information we collect through other sources.

If you choose to sign up as part of the process you will be asked to provide us with personal information through a form. Information we collect may include: name, email, company name, city and country.

How do we transfer and store information about you?

Transfers within Littelfuse

As Littelfuse is a global organization with entities around the world, your personal information may be transferred to and stored outside the country where you are located. This includes countries outside the EU and/or the European Economic Area (EEA) and countries that do not have laws that provide specific protection for personal information.

Where we collect your personal information within the EU/EEA, transfer outside the EU/EEA will be only:

Processing locations and transfers to third party service providers

Your information may be transferred to service providers (third party service providers) to process it on Littelfuse’s behalf. When we transfer personal data, we do so for the purposes for which the information has been submitted, for the purposes listed above under Use of Personal Information, for the administration and maintenance of the Website and associated systems, and/or other internal or administrative purposes. How long will we keep information about you?

We will retain your personal information on our systems only for as long as we need it given the purposes for which it was collected, or as required to do so by law in accordance with minimum statutory retention periods. We keep contact information (such as email list information) until a user unsubscribes or requests that we delete that information. If you choose to unsubscribe from Littelfuse communications, we may keep certain limited information about you so that we may honor your request.

Consent for marketing communications

We will only send you marketing communications and materials if you have provided consent for us to do so.

Unsubscribe

If you want to unsubscribe from Littelfuse marketing communications, you can click the Unsubscribe link found at the bottom of any Littelfuse marketing communications email sent to you or you can complete the online unsubscribe form. If you do not wish to receive emails or marketing communications from us, you can at any time contact us to request that such communications cease.

Rights in relation to your information

You may have certain rights under your local law in relation to the personal information we hold about you. You may have a right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of personal data.

Acquisitions

Littelfuse may acquire companies that will transition to this Privacy Statement as part of an integration process. Please note that provisions of their existing privacy policies may remain active until the integration is complete. Children’s personal information

The Website is designed for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 16 through online channels. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 16, we will promptly delete the information from our records.
